Winchester Lake State Park, 38 miles south of Lewiston beside a ponderosa pine-ringed lake, rents four yurts year-round: Lodgepole, Snowberry, Ponderosa and Tamarack (two ADA). Each yurt has electric wall heat, lights and electricity, a bunkbed with a twin on top and full on the bottom, and a futon that folds out to a full, with base occupancy of five and room for up to eight. Each unit also comes with a microwave, inside and outside picnic tables, a fire ring, a gas propane BBQ on the deck with propane included, and its own canoe with life jackets and paddles. Dogs are welcome in all yurts except Lodgepole.
