Dworshak State Park sits among trees and meadows on the western shore of Dworshak Reservoir in north-central Idaho, reached via Orofino about 57 miles east of Moscow. The park's Freeman Creek unit rents four cabins, each sleeping five people and equipped with electricity, heat, and air conditioning. The separate Three Meadows group camp contains eight additional cabins used for group rentals accommodating large parties. The park also offers 103 campsites, including 46 with electric and water hookups, and access to fishing and boating on the 54-mile-long steelhead and bass reservoir. Reservations are handled through the Idaho State Parks system.
