Timberline Glamping at Promised Land State Park brings furnished safari tents to Pennsylvania's Pocono Plateau, where roughly 3,000 park acres sit about 1,800 feet above sea level, surrounded by more than 12,000 acres of Delaware State Forest. Guests choose between Deluxe Safari Tents with a king bed and two bunk beds or Double Safari Tents with two queen beds. Each tent comes appointed with comfortable linens, a Keurig coffee maker, seating and dining areas, phone charging, and seasonal climate control with heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. From camp, the state park offers fishing and boating on two lakes, around 50 miles of hiking trails, swimming, bicycling, wildlife viewing, and educational programs.
