The YURT at Screwball Ranch is a secluded, off-grid getaway on a private 80-acre property on Cedar Mesa in western Colorado, at the base of Grand Mesa and about 15 minutes from Cedaredge. The 900-plus-square-foot yurt sleeps four to six, with two full-size futons on the main floor and two twin beds in the loft. Comforts include a fully equipped kitchen with propane range, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker; a 3/4 bathroom with hot and cold water; a wood stove and propane heater; and solar power with generator backup, plus a large deck and skylight. The ranch adjoins thousands of acres of BLM land with miles of hiking, biking, ATV, and horseback trails, and serves as a base camp for wildlife viewing, canoeing on nearby lakes, and exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Pet-friendly, with no cleaning fees or deposits.
