Teepees by the River is a glamping retreat on more than 20 acres along the Middle Fork of the Payette River in Garden Valley, Idaho, about an hour and fifteen minutes from Boise and just below Terrace Lakes Resort. The property offers eleven teepee sites plus one yurt, each sleeping up to six guests in roughly 225 square feet with wall-to-wall carpeting and custom log furniture. Every site includes a firepit with grill grate, a two-burner camp stove and charcoal grill, picnic and log benches, hammocks, wash basins, lanterns, a coffee pot, and a large water pot, with chemical toilets located throughout the grounds. Motorized vehicles stay in the parking lot, keeping the camp quiet for hiking, river time, and stargazing.
