South Beach State Park, just south of Newport and the Yaquina Bay Bridge, operates one of the largest yurt programs on the Oregon coast with 27 yurts, including the Cooper Ridge Village cluster (yurts CRV1-CRV8) in the first loop near the registration booth. Twenty-four of the yurts are accessible to campers with disabilities. The park sits behind a broad sandy beach with paved trails, a hiker/biker camp, and easy access to Newport's bayfront, the Oregon Coast Aquarium and South Jetty area. Reservations are required for all yurt stays and open six months in advance.
