Sakatah Lake State Park, on a natural widening of the Cannon River between Waterville and Faribault along the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail, offers one camper cabin. The cabin sleeps five, is wheelchair accessible, and has a screened porch and electricity. It is available April through October. There is no indoor plumbing — the cabin is a rustic one-room wooden unit with bunk beds and mattresses, a table, and benches, with an outdoor picnic table and fire ring for cooking, and campground restrooms and showers nearby. Pets are not allowed inside the cabin. Reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance through Minnesota's state park reservation system.
