Flandrau State Park Camper Cabins

New Ulm, MN

About this stay

Flandrau State Park, along the Cottonwood River on the edge of New Ulm, has two year-round camper cabins with electric heat and screened porches. Coffee Tree Retreat sleeps six and sits about 400 feet from restrooms; Hackberry Haven is wheelchair accessible, sleeps five, and is 345 feet from restrooms. The park also rents a historic stone Civilian Conservation Corps cabin seasonally, which is accessible. Camper cabins are rustic one-room wooden cabins with bunk beds and mattresses, a table and benches, plus an outdoor fire ring and picnic table; there is no indoor plumbing. Pets are not allowed inside state park buildings. The park is known for its sand-bottom swimming pond and river valley trails.
