Paradise Point State Park near Ridgefield, a short drive north of Vancouver, rents yurts a short distance from the East Fork Lewis River. Each yurt is 16 feet in diameter and 10 feet high with electric heat, lights and a locking door, sleeping up to five guests on a bunk bed that sleeps three and a futon couch that sleeps two, plus a small end table; bed linens are not provided. No cooking is permitted indoors; each yurt has an outdoor picnic table and fire pit, with bathrooms and showers nearby. Pets are not allowed in the yurts. Check-in is 4 p.m., checkout 11 a.m., and reservations open up to nine months in advance.
