Kanaskat-Palmer State Park sits in quiet forest along the rushing rapids of the Green River in the Cascade foothills southeast of Seattle, and rents heated yurts year-round. Each yurt is 16 feet in diameter and 10 feet high with electric heat, lights and a locking door, and accommodates up to five guests on a bunk bed that sleeps three and a futon couch that sleeps two; bed linens are not provided. Outside, each unit has its own deck, picnic table and fire pit with grate, with park bathrooms nearby. Pets are allowed in yurt Y16 only for $15 per night, up to two pets. Reservations can be made up to nine months in advance.
