Dash Point State Park rents six camping cabins (C1-C6) nestled in forest near the Puget Sound shoreline between Federal Way and Tacoma — one of the closest state-park cabin stays to the Seattle-Tacoma metro area. Each cabin has electric heat and lights and sleeps up to five guests, furnished with a bunk bed that sleeps three, a futon couch that sleeps two, a table with four chairs and a small end table. Bathrooms and showers are nearby, and outside each cabin is a picnic table and fire pit with grate. Bed linens are not provided, and cooking is only permitted in units with kitchenettes. Pets are allowed in cabin C1 only, $15 per night, two-pet maximum.
