The 20-foot-diameter yurt sleeps up to six and features double-pane glass slider windows, with views over Lake San Cristobal, the Lake Fork valley, and surrounding alpine peaks. The regularly groomed approach trail carries no avalanche danger in winter, making it a good fit for novice backcountry skiers and snowshoers as well as summer visitors. Guests melt snow for water in winter and must bring their own water in summer.
