Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park, three miles south of Florence, is Oregon's second-largest state park campground, tucked among sand dunes and two freshwater lakes. The park rents 10 yurts year-round, 5 of them pet-friendly. Cleawox Lake on the west side of Highway 101 and Woahink Lake on the east side both offer sandy beaches and roped-off swim areas, and the park borders the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, where two miles of dunes separate the campground from the ocean. Yurt reservations are required and open up to six months in advance through the state reservation system.
