Golden Hill State Park Yurts

Barker, NY

About this stay

Golden Hill State Park, on the south shore of Lake Ontario in Niagara County, offers yurts alongside its traditional campground. The yurts are wood lattice-framed structures with heavy-duty reinforced fabric sides and insulated liners, featuring windows, a domed roof and wood floors. Each sleeps six with two sets of bunk beds and a pull-out full-sized futon, and includes a refrigerator and microwave; yurts rent for $106 per day with weekly rates available. The park is also home to the decommissioned Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse, whose three-bedroom keeper's cottage (full kitchen, electric fireplace, sleeps six) rents seasonally mid-May to mid-October with a two-night minimum. Standard campsites run $17-$37 per night. Reservations are through Reserve America.
