Dosewallips State Park, where the Dosewallips River meets Hood Canal below the Olympic Mountains, rents one-room cabins (C1-C9) and two-room cabins (C74-C76) in a forested setting with mountain and river views and rocky-beach shellfishing nearby. All cabins have electric heat, lights and locking doors, and each accommodates up to five guests, furnished with a bunk bed that sleeps three, a futon couch that sleeps two, a table with four chairs and a small end table. Bed linens are not provided. The park is popular for clamming, oyster harvesting and elk watching. Pets are allowed in cabins C1, C2, C6, C7 and C76 for an additional $15 per night, two pets maximum.
