The county park borders Port Susan on Puget Sound, with 3,300 feet of saltwater shoreline backed by evergreen forest. A 300-foot fishing pier extends into the Sound, and eleven picnic shelters offer water views. Guests can fish and crab from the pier, windsurf, hike the walking paths, picnic, and launch boats from the seasonal boat ramp with floating dock. The adjacent campground adds 30 partial-utility campsites, and restrooms serve the grounds, making the yurts an easy, comfortable way to camp on the shore of Puget Sound.
