Wild River State Park stretches along 18 miles of the federally designated Wild and Scenic St. Croix River near Center City, about an hour from the Twin Cities. The park offers six camper cabins with rustic furnishings, heat, and electrical outlets. Cabins 1, 2, 4, and 6 accommodate six people each; Cabins 3 and 5 are wheelchair accessible and accommodate five each. There is no indoor plumbing, and all cooking must be done outside at the fire ring and picnic table provided at each cabin. Pets are not allowed in the cabins. The park also rents a separate guest house. Reservations open 120 days in advance through Minnesota's reservation portal.
