Tuscarora State Park in Schuylkill County rents four round canvas-and-wood yurts and six camping cottages, open in April and closing during mid-October. Each yurt sleeps five in bunk beds and comes unusually well equipped for a state-park yurt: a four-burner electric range, microwave oven, refrigerator, table and chairs, electric heat, electric lights and outlets, wood floor, skylight vent, and a porch with picnic table and fire ring. The six camping cottages also sleep five, with wooden walls and floors, electric heat, lights and outlets, bunk beds, and porches. A shower house is nearby, and dogs are permitted in Cottage #1. The units sit near 96-acre Tuscarora Lake below Locust Mountain.
