Tugaloo State Park Yurts
Lavonia, GA
About this stay
Tugaloo State Park sits on a rugged peninsula in Lake Hartwell in northeast Georgia and offers 6 yurts plus 20 cottages, some with private boat docks for overnight guests. The yurts are wood-and-canvas structures with furniture, electrical outlets, screened windows, a ceiling fan, a small heater, air conditioning and locking doors, sleeping up to six on bunk futons that fold out to full-size mattresses. Each has a private deck, picnic table, grill or fire ring and water spigot outside, with a bathhouse offering hot showers and flush toilets within walking distance. Cooking is not allowed inside the yurts and pets are not permitted in or around them. Reservations are made through the official Georgia State Parks reservation portal.
