Spoon Mountain Glamping is an adults-only luxury retreat on a hillside in Wimberley, Texas, about 30 miles southwest of Austin in the Hill Country. Three safari tents—Shaka, Kingfisher, and Chisum—are each uniquely styled with handcrafted furniture and custom decor, and come with a king-size bed, spa bathroom with soaking tub, mini kitchenette, WiFi, and heating and air conditioning. Each tent has a front porch, a back deck where you can draw a bubble bath under the stars, outdoor games, and its own private heated pool (available for an added fee). Guests share a communal fire pit area surrounded by oak trees and native wildlife, and a spa tent offers private massages. Wimberley's swimming holes, Blue Hole and Jacob's Well, plus creekside shops, wineries, and hiking trails are nearby.
