Savanna Portage State Park Camper Cabin
McGregor, MN
About this stay
Savanna Portage State Park, a remote lakes-and-bog park northeast of McGregor built around the historic voyageur portage between the Mississippi River and Lake Superior watersheds, offers one rustic camper cabin that sleeps five. The cabin is wheelchair accessible and open May to November. This is one of the more primitive cabins in the system: it has no running water and no electricity, and campers may use the showers and bathrooms in the campground. It is a one-room wooden cabin with bunk beds and mattresses, a table, and benches, with an outdoor fire ring and picnic table. Pets are not allowed. The park also rents the separate Garni Guest House.
