Peaceful Peaks is a remote off-grid glamping retreat at 6,700 feet near the Highway of Legends Scenic Byway in Boncarbo, south-central Colorado, about 15 miles from Trinidad. Guests stay in spacious luxury bell tents outfitted with a woodstove, propane heater, and queen bed (two cots available on request), each sleeping up to four, with a grill, picnic table, fire pit, and hammock swing outside. Three walk-in mountain-top tent camping sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and grill, are also available seasonally. Private bathrooms and showers are offered during the warmer months, and the property keeps things deliberately unplugged — no TVs, no WiFi. ATV and mountain-biking trails start on site, with Trinidad Lake State Park about a 10-minute drive away.
