Natural Bridge State Resort Park, beside Red River Gorge in the Daniel Boone National Forest, rents eleven cottages: seven one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units. As at other Kentucky State Resort Parks, the cottages include full kitchens and private yards, porches or patios, with tableware, cooking utensils and linens provided and fresh linens available daily. The park surrounds its namesake 65-foot-high natural sandstone arch, reached by trail or skylift, and offers more than 20 miles of hiking among cliffs and rock shelters near Slade in eastern Kentucky. Cottages book through the Kentucky State Parks reservation system, with check-in by late afternoon and 10 a.m. checkout.
