Moenkopi Yurts
Moab, UT
About this stay
The Moenkopi Yurts sit on a high mesa inside Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab, 2,000 feet above a gooseneck of the Colorado River. The five yurts each sleep up to six people on a bunk bed — a queen mattress below and a full above — plus a pullout full-size futon couch. Inside are heating and air conditioning, a mini refrigerator, microwave, electrical outlets, and tables; outside, each yurt has a deck with picnic table, fire ring, and a park-supplied propane grill. Modern restrooms are a short walk away. A private spur connects the yurts to the park's Intrepid Mountain Biking Trail System, and the park's International Dark Sky designation makes for exceptional stargazing along with famously vivid desert sunrises and sunsets. Yurts 1-5 are pet-friendly with a fee.
