Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park Cabins
Nevada City, CA
About this stay
Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park, at 23579 North Bloomfield Road northeast of Nevada City, rents three rustic miner's cabins in the historic Gold Rush town of North Bloomfield — not in the campground, but right in the preserved townsite. The cabins, named Carter, Smith and Condon after figures from the town's past, each have two sets of wooden bunk beds sleeping four adults, a wood-burning stove, and cold running water (shut off during freezing weather). The Smith Cabin offers accessibility accommodations. The park preserves the site of California's largest hydraulic gold mine. Cabins are by reservation only through ReserveCalifornia.
