Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park Camper Cabins

Soudan, MN

About this stay

Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park, on the rocky south shore of Lake Vermilion near Soudan and Tower, offers eight modern camper cabins with heat, electricity, and Wi-Fi, available year-round — the largest camper cabin cluster in the Minnesota system. Two cabins (Niibin and Zhaawanong) are wheelchair accessible, with accessible showers and flush toilets nearby. Each cabin sleeps six, with either three full bunks or two full and two twin bunks, and each site has an outdoor food-prep counter, campfire ring, and table. Pets are not allowed. The park also rents the rustic Blue Heron Island Cabin seasonally — a cabin on its own island reached by water.
