Lake Cascade State Park's Osprey Point yurt camp, on the west side of the 86-mile-shoreline reservoir near Cascade, offers three large group yurts available year-round: the 20-foot Bluebird sleeping seven, the 24-foot Appaloosa sleeping twelve, and the 24-foot Syringa sleeping eleven. Each yurt is heated by a wood-burning stove and furnished with combinations of single and double bunk beds and double futon couch-beds; together the camp accommodates groups of up to 30. The lakeside setting includes vault toilets and communal gathering areas, and a two-night minimum stay applies. Reservations are made through the Idaho State Parks system.
