Lake Carlos State Park, at the northern end of the Alexandria chain of lakes, offers four year-round camper cabins located in the upper campground. All four cabins have electricity, heat, and a screened porch. One cabin is wheelchair accessible and sleeps five; the other three sleep six people each. The cabins are available daily April through October and Thursday through Sunday during the winter season. Each is a rustic one-room wooden cabin with bunk beds and mattresses, a table, and benches, with an outdoor picnic table and fire ring for cooking. There is no indoor plumbing; campers use nearby campground restrooms and showers. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
