Overview The historic Bushman House is an exceptional year-round place to stay and is located within the Gettysburg National Military Park, where it witnessed the Battle of Gettysburg. Beautifully restored and updated in 2017, the house is set back from the roadways and nestled within famous landmarks like Little Round Top and Devil's Den, and near the historic town of Gettysburg. Recreation There are numerous ways to experience the battlefield. Visit the park's Things to Do page to learn about self-guided auto tours, licensed battlefield guided tours, easy paved walking trails as well as unpaved to explore and hike. Trails are available in close proximity to the home. At the park's visitor center, visitors can marvel at the Gettysburg cyclorama painting, original artifacts, or find their own civil war ancestors.
