Harriman State Park, a historic railroad ranch in Island Park 28 miles south of West Yellowstone, rents rustic canvas-walled yurts. Cygnet, Ermine and Wyethia yurts are available year-round and the Becker backcountry yurt from May through November; each sleeps six on two bunk beds and is heated by a wood-burning stove, with propane or camp cooking stoves and lanterns provided. Becker sits 1.5 miles from the parking area with bear-proof food storage. The park also rents historic ranch buildings, including the ten-cabin Scovel Education Center, the three-bedroom Cattle Foreman's House sleeping six, and a bunkhouse and cookhouse sleeping thirteen.
