Eagle's Nest Treehouse is a secluded farmstay on Salmon Creek Ranch, a 400-acre working ranch in Sonoma County near Bodega Bay, California. The treehouse is suspended 60 feet high between two trees, reached by a spiral staircase and a 40-foot suspension bridge, with interiors milled from a 1,000-year-old fallen redwood. It includes a bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, a bathroom with a two-glass-wall shower, a wrap-around deck, and electricity, heating, and running water. The ranch encompasses redwood, pine, and bay laurel forest, 1.5 miles of Salmon Creek, and a private trail network where hikers are unlikely to see another person. Guests can watch ranch life among ducks, cows, goats, and livestock guardian dogs, and cook on the barbecue or fire ring. Bookings are handled through Hipcamp or Airbnb.
