The family-run property, operated by Sherry and Terry McCracken, features four luxury yurts alongside 17 full hook-up RV sites on the Old Cabin Loop, six power-and-water RV sites on Sherry's Trail, and tent camping. Guests share a bathhouse, and from April through October the on-site DuPont Canteen serves food, ice cream, milkshakes, craft beers, and ciders. The location makes an ideal basecamp for exploring the forest's six waterfalls, 80 miles of trails, and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountain scenery.
