The Tipi Retreat offers overnight stays in seven large, fully furnished authentic tipis just five miles from Thermopolis, Wyoming, and Hot Springs State Park, on a hillside overlooking the confluence of the Wind and Big Horn Rivers. Guests can look south toward the Wind River Indian Reservation, east to the Wedding of the Waters, and northeast to the Bighorn Mountains. Every paid guest receives a free all-day pass to Hellie's Tepee Pools in Hot Springs State Park, with indoor and outdoor mineral pools, slides, hot tubs, steam room, and sauna. Run by a veteran and a special education teacher, the retreat also hosts programs for veterans and service members, and welcomes couples, family reunions, birthdays, and weddings for evenings around the campfire under wide Wyoming skies.
