Cloudland Canyon State Park Yurts
Rising Fawn, GA
About this stay
Cloudland Canyon State Park, on the western edge of Lookout Mountain in northwest Georgia, offers 10 yurts among its overnight options. Georgia State Parks' yurts are wood-and-canvas structures with furniture, electrical outlets, screened windows, a ceiling fan, a small heater and locking doors; Cloudland Canyon's yurts also have air conditioning. Most sleep up to six on bunk futons that fold out to full-size mattresses. Outside each yurt are a private deck, picnic table, grill or fire ring and water spigot, with a bathhouse offering hot showers and flush toilets within walking distance. Cooking is not allowed inside, and pets are not permitted in or around the yurts. The park also rents 18 fully equipped cottages. Reservations are through the official Georgia State Parks reservation system.
