Chickasaw State Park in West Tennessee offers 13 cabins nestled among tall pines with easy access to Lake Placid: 6 two-bedroom standard cabins and 7 one-bedroom historic Works Progress Administration (WPA) cabins. Standard cabins have full-sized kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, bed and bath linens (exchangeable through housekeeping), a wood-burning fireplace in the main living area with wood provided October to March, satellite TV, and a telephone. The historic WPA cabins sleep guests in one bedroom with three beds and one bath. A two-night minimum stay applies, with three nights required on peak holiday weekends.
