Swanton, OH
About this stay
Cannaley Treehouse Village, operated by Metroparks Toledo in the Beach Ridge area of Oak Openings Preserve near Swanton, Ohio, is billed as the only public treehouse village in the country. Five private treehouses — two sleeping two (The Dragline and The Nest), the ADA-accessible four-person Hub, and the six-person Stable and Canopy Loft, both also ADA-accessible — are linked by boardwalks, a canopy bridge, and a crow's nest. Each treehouse has electricity with heat and air conditioning plus a kitchenette with under-counter refrigerator, Keurig, and microwave; the Canopy Loft adds a full-size refrigerator, WiFi, and TV. Guests share a communal fire pit with provided firewood, electric deck grills, and full ADA restrooms, with showers at the nearby Wheelhouse. Three tent and hammock platforms sleep up to six each.
