Overview Camp Four and a Half Cabin is located along the Kings River above Pine Flat Reservoir at an elevation of 1,100 feet in Sequoia National Forest. The cabin sits within the Giant Sequoia National Monument, about 60 miles east of Fresno, California. The cabin was built in 1957 as a residence and office by Forest Service rangers and their families until the early1980's. Dedicated volunteers and employees restored the cabin and converted it to an overnight rental for the public.
