Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park, on a 1,200-acre mountain lake in the Appalachians of southeastern Kentucky, rents five executive cottages year-round: two two-bedroom and three three-bedroom units. Tableware, cooking utensils and linens are provided, with fresh linens available daily, and like all Kentucky State Resort Park cottages they include full kitchens and private yards, porches or patios. The park at 4441 KY Hwy 1833 in Buckhorn requires a two-night minimum for cabin and cottage rentals, and a limited number of cottages accept pets. Check-in is by late afternoon with a 10 a.m. checkout, booked through the Kentucky State Parks reservation system.
