Reached on an exclusive permit spanning over 14,000 remote acres, it serves as a base for guided backcountry skiing, splitboarding, multi-day hut trips, and avalanche education. The yurt sleeps up to eight guests and two guides on six custom bunks and two trundle beds with memory-foam mattresses. Inside is a large, efficient woodstove with an integrated five-gallon hot-water tank, cooking surface, and warming tray, plus a fully equipped kitchen with a propane cookstove, cookware, and crockery. Fresh treated water comes from a year-round creek. Additional touches include solar-powered LED lighting, a mountain library of books and games, a nearby outhouse, and emergency satellite communication.
