Banning State Park Camper Cabin
Sandstone, MN
About this stay
Banning State Park, known for the Kettle River's whitewater rapids and sandstone quarry ruins near Sandstone, has one wheelchair-accessible camper cabin that sleeps five. The cabin is available seasonally, from April through mid-November, and is the most rustic style of Minnesota camper cabin: it does not have electricity or heat. Like all Minnesota state park camper cabins, it is a one-room wooden cabin furnished with bunk beds with mattresses, a table, and benches, with an outdoor fire ring and picnic table; there is no indoor plumbing, and campers use campground restrooms and showers nearby. Pets are not allowed. Reservations open 120 days in advance through the state reservation system.
